As far I can see that lamp is from alot of small squares. Maybe you can search for a modular unit made from a circle. But you will need a 100 more sheets most likely. Could make a cool lamp!
I am not sure how you're going to use any of the papers you've shown in your original post though. those don't look suitable because they are not square, and the decorative edge would be the part glued to the ball itself, so it would not be very visible anyway, so it'd be pointless to use them to begin with, so step 1: find different paper.
