Hi guys,
In my school, we have something called Character Day, in which we all dress up in different things. I have been getting alot of pressure over the years to come in in origami clothes, but I have been lazy, as of now. Do you guys know anything about any models which work as functional clothes? I know of the modular Maarten Vest. I think the loafers in the OUSA collection this year would work. is there anything else? Paper stifness is not a problem for me.
Fabric folding is like origami but with fabric instead of paper. The major difference between fabric and paper is that fabric is softer and won’t hold creases well. The loafers ought to last if I make them thick enough. There are so much cooler items I'd like to see wearable. And actual clothes would be nice, too, not more crappy trinkets.
David Brill also made glasses, which can be worn. Though one can't look through, it would be some nice accessoire to have.
He diagrammed it in his book brilliant origami.
