Mine was Noboru Miyajima's Scythe. I didn't really get the blade part right, but it didn't really matter to me at the time. I think I tried Miyajima's chinese dragon afterwards.

My first crease pattren is "The Steamed Bun Box"
i found from a blog named "The Fitful Flog"
I love the finished model...

ah! I think i remember! it was that japanese robot I found when I first found the forum. I still quite like it, even though the CP has evaded me.

I am yet to try folding from crease patterns and want the first one to be Cupcake's cute kitten :)

Cupcake, if i remember correctly, your first folded CP was 'Lion' designed by Guspath Go?

My first CP was Roman Diaz' Acrobatic Elephant, from Origami for Interpreters .
While I am a neophye on Cp's , at least I have enough clarity to begin with an easy one ...
Probably most importantly, I simply admire & enjoy that model .
May I wish success to all who cope with the mountains & valleys of Life,
with all its peaks & depths, as well as Origami .

Yes it was and it took me 2 days.
