What do you all usefor your backgrounds for your photos? I just use a large paper against a wall, but lately, it hasn't quite been cutting it. I'd like to know how you do it!

Usually i just use a big sheet of paper with a nice texture and a good light. If it fits the subject i try to go outside and involve nature.

if you see through my photos you will see an improvement (i hope

) so just try a lot out, try to find a unique setup for every model, fitting the subject and do a lot of shots from different angles. That can also change the impression of the background a lot.
If you put a sheet against the wall, you can also combine different coloured/textured sheets or put some objects on it.

Cool photos tschobigami

.
I use a improvised light box for smaller model.

But I don't like the background to look too white.
I've also used a black background in my light box.

I liked how it looks

. It helps to concentrate your attention in the model.
I use fabric for bigger models.

I like to show the curves of the fabric in the picture.
I used a natural background in this photo of my
Shopping bag.

I wanted to convey in the image that it was a real shopping bag so I thought it was important to show it in context.
Also, I edit all my photos before posting them. I just adjust things like brightness and contrast among others.
That's what I do but I think there's no correct answer regarding the background, just different styles that can work for you or not.
Hope it helps
