did someone tried them allready? - they are just amazing
Renzuru (or Renkaku)is connected origami cranes.
It is made from one piece of paper which, however, there are cuts.

dont forget to take a look at the Hiden Senbazuru Orikata if you dont know it allready
(oldest origami book for amusement in the world (published in 1797))

Some years ago I´ve folded some of them and also tried to make some own variations, but I never liked the cutting part and once smashed a model with around 50 cranes because the paper ripped between the Big crane and the first small crane when folding the last one...

but besides the cuttings i think it looks really awesome, once finished
