Hey everyone,
I was just wondering what the biggest or smallest grid you've ever seen for a box pleated model? For me, the biggest would only be 64. However, the smallest is 6 (My Man design)

Well there's
Brian Chan's Mayfly which uses a 72x72 grid and
Eileen Tan's Couatl based on a 96x96 grid.
As for the smallest grid that would probably be Jeremy Shafer's Square based on a 1x1 grid

128 x 128 is not strange but I can't remember which Hoyjo's model has it

Take a look at
this. The outside is from a 128:128 grid, but it's mostly from a 64:64 grid

I don't remember exactly the size of the grid, but Robert Lang's Black Forest Cuckoo Clock has a pretty big grid too.

Ronald Koh's Ankylosaurus has a 96x96 and in some places 192x192, if I remember correctly.

Actually, the grid on that model is only 16 units wide... it's just absurdly long. Sooooo, 16x160. Or, if you want, fold a 160x160 grid and then cut it up and make a bunch of them.

I saw a design at ousa that was based on a 256 by 256 grid. I think Kenny Baclawski did it. Not sure though.

I folded a 256ths version of one of my broccoli models (did not turn out well), and my millipede is based on a 150ths grid, but both of those only used certain folds
the largest actual grid I've folded is 128ths.
I know the most recent Ryu-Zin is pretty ridiculous. I think it was at least 128ths, but a lot of 128ths at that
oh, and brian chan's mens et manus is actually 14x8ths (112ths)
