As a grauduate of WKU I received these instructions in the mail yesterday and thought it was really quite entertaining! I have no idea who the creator is but I thought there might be some people here who would get a kick out of the model as well. Big Red is the mascot for Western Kentucky University. He is supposed to represent the "spirit of the hill" as the university sits atop a hill in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Also, we are known as The Hilltoppers. He has been a favorite mascot of ESPN and has been featured in numerous commercials. Have fun!

Pretty neat, my cousin goes to WKU. I'd like to find out the creator's name though, and maybe meet up with them sometime.

My cousin works for the alumni association and he told me that apparently there is a company in the north east that designs these things for schools and other organizations. Apparently Maryland did one for the Terrapin. I'll have to ask him what the name of the company is though.

Thats somewhat disappointing, but it is interesting that there is a company producing these. Might be a nice niche for origami career seekers, just need some skill with computers and graphic design along with designing origami models and diagramming them.
