I usually concentrate on representational models, but I want to branch out a bit and try some tesselations and modulars. I'm going to buy Eric's new book for the tesselatiuons, but am unsure whst to buy for the modulars. I've done the modulars from Origami Omnibus, and diffficulty isn't an issue, because I'll either figure it out eventually, or I'll ask on the forum. I'm looking or a book that has a wide variety of interesting shapes.

Before you set an order for Eric's book on Amazon or somewhere else, you might want to know, that his publisher decided not to print the book and Eric is currently in the process of finding a new publisher. So the tessellation book probably won't be available before autumn.

For modulars you may want to take a look at Meenakshi's book:

If you're interested in modular origami, do yourself a favor and buy Unit Origami: Multidimensional Transformations by Tomoko Fuse. I'm not saying that it's the only modular book you will ever want, but it is one of the very best and will keep you busy for quite some time.

Thanks for the advice! I was unaware or Eric's publishing problems, thats a shame. I hope he is able to find a new publisher!
