yesterday, I saw a video in youtube " Origami Ultimate Challenge "
It's a very funny video.
I saw Brian Chan fold the crane by his left hand . I really like that
(although maybe he didn't fold it really)
so today i try to fold the crane like him
I use 9 minutes and 2 seconds to do it with 6*6 cm paper
and without folding on the table.

There is already a topic about one handed crane folding on this Forum. Use the search function to find it.
If I remember right, in the end the folding speed and recognizability of the models where some hard to define terms that are near to impossible to compare over the Internet. (If you stop the time yourself or if someone else does it for you makes a huge difference,...)

It's a hoot I cried watching it the first time. It has some nice origami models too. Great job Brian and Jason!

It is hard, the fastest I can fold the crane with one hand is seven minutes, and it is so messy

I absolutely loved that video.
My favorite part is when Jason Ku says, "Origami Insects 2?! You have grown strong in the fold"
Also loved when Brian Chan took out a double bladed lightsaber.

I liked when Jason shot Brian with Brian's gun.

Ah.. what a wonderful challenge.
My first attempt took me a walk to the post office and back.. thats about 5 min each way.. so 10 mins all up.
My second was during a walk around the square at lunchtime - dont know how long but about the 10 mins mark again .. so Im roughly consistent.
Its such a fun thing to do as you find your left hand just itching to help out.
Naturally on my walk home today, I thought Id try something little different.. John Montrolls Tetrohedron. Tricky tucking the final bits in but do-able.
I havnt worked out how to make really cripsy folder (as with a fingernail on a hard surface) but Im sure there is a one-handed-no-table-top way.
Ps Im using 5x5cm - thanks to several boxes of the same I bought recently.. Its a lovely wallet-sized size.. handy for all occasions.

I propose a new challenge. Folding the crane with your FEET!

I have already been challenged to do that. Of course, i won't do it... yet. By now, nobody would want to touch a crane folded with my feet...

I recently went by tram and no seat for two-hand-folding. So I folded crane with one hand. And surprisingly it looked in the same clean and right form as if I folding with two hands.

I folded a slightly clean one with my right hand in 1 min and 36 seconds.
By the way, my computer keeps on saying invalid session: please resubmit form when I try to post. This has been preventing me from posting for several weeks. Does anyone know what was happening?
