I too like to fold modular origami so I buy 1000 sheets at a time. I buy from Asian Food Grocer
http://www.asianfoodgrocer.com/index.as ... egory=1185
They sell a wide variety of colors in packs of 100 for 2.45 USD per pack.

you have a couple of options.
http://www.paperjade.com
service is quick, and in the us, there is no shipping fee. on the minus side, things get to be expensive. right now they are one of only a few sites offering japanese foil in 10".
http://www.kimscrane.com
probably the best deal on the web for bulk papers in one color. the flip side is that shipping/handling is fixed at $9 for stateside addresses, so it behooves you when you buy to buy as much as possible to get the most "bang for your buck." they are currently moving right now, and should reopen soon.
some other sites that sell origami paper in bulk:
http://www.artoforigami.com
http://www.paper-tree.com
http://www.asianfoodgrocer.com/index.as ... PRODSEARCH
http://www.origami.com.au/
also, make sure you take another look through sasugabooks. they have a deal through 4/30/08 for free shipping and handling for orders over $40 (stateside only, i think).
