You can buy matchbox in the tobaccoshop, they looks like origami. Hard paper rolled and glued, its also origami, isn't it?.

My friend's birthday (as well as mine and my twin's) is this friday and since he's a fan of tobacco I was going to try to design him some flashy way to roll his cigarettes. I gave it some thought and figured it would not only be difficult but too time consuming to figure one out that actually lights well. Nobody else has seen/designed an origami cigarette?

Heh, but I'm looking for a decorative way to roll them, so you have to be able to smoke them.

I was thinking a crane would be hilarious but even then, you'd need a pretty impressively sized piece of rolling paper.

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone had any clever ideas cuz I couldn't think of any.
Anyway, I've pulled us off topic. Oops.

You could have an extra long piece of rolling paper and use some simple box pleating to position a crane sitting on top of it.

Happy Birthday JeossMayhem!
First of all I have to say that smoking is very unhealthy and you shouldn't do that.
If you make a waterbomb on one end and double rabbit ear the two lose flaps, you can fold them into a crane with a shared wing and still have enough paper to roll your cigarette. I've done a trial (using a pencil instead of tobacco) and it came out pretty well.
Another idea that needs a bit more of your paper would be to make a flower like the one from Hermann Lau's "Flower in a Pot" with a cigarette instead of the pot.
The nicest model of the ones I tried is by far the traditional turtle, but you will burn your lips when trying to lit it...

Heh, thanks Anna. I don't smoke cigarretes (maybe half a cigar on a very special occasion, such as my birthday) but it was for my friend who shares my birthday. Hopefully next year I can suprise him. But thanks for the suggestions!
