Hey all, i was messing around with some photo copy paper and i suddenly got an idea for a origami model. after about a half an hour and two attempts i got my basic idea folded out. now I want to make my model even cooler by adding details and adjusting the way the body is made. any help would be appreciated.

when i have a chance i will add photos to my pages.

so you expect us to fold the sea serpent to get a visual image of the finished model? why don't you just post a picture to let us judge about it?

I've taken a look on your CP.
It seems to be symmetrical along the square diagonal, but the creases you have drawn are not so
I also think that you missed some creases in drawing your CP.
Then if you don't post a picture of what you got and tell us where do you wish to improve your model, it would be very difficult to go on with this project/challenge

i dont have a camera i can use right now.

but when i have one ill take a few photos. the lines on the CP are supposed to be symmetrical. i like the head/tail but the body could be better .sorrry for missing all that info.

I've made it thinner so it will look longer, added bird base on head so it has now 2 pair of horns and jaws, changed a litlle the tail and added the fins ( i'm not sure if it's proper name for that part

)

Sadarac -
I know you said PM... but others may be interested to know that you can get Lang's ODS from Amazon for $40 -50 (as well as Maekawa's Genuine Origami for under $20).

Do you have a photo of the model based on your new CP?
I've folded it but I really have no idea about what final shape you have thought for it.
Thanks.

OrigamiGianluca: you are asking me or Sadarac?
I don't have photos, neither do the model, I was folding it in mind, and making the base in Oripa, I think that the head will be very small so I'll post a upgraded cp soon

Sorry Kafar, I was asking to you
This is a photo of your collapsed CP.
The head (on the left, if I'm right) is very tiny.

Yes it is very tiny, and the cp isn't mine but Sadarac's I 've modyfied it a little, I'll post better cp soon

the head is a bit small. if you want to add details to the head and were to keep the porportions you would have to take length from the tail or body. if you take length from the body then the reverse folds will have to be made closer. looking at the cp it seems that the folds along the body were bisected to make the body thinner. the only thing i dont get is how fins were made on the sides.
