If there had to be "Origami Oscars", what do you think the categories would be.
Here are a few ideas:
Best producer - Best publisher
Best director - best diagrammer
Best movie - best model
Best actor - best creator
Best series - best book
Best new actor - best new designer
Best scene - best folded model
Best soundtrack - best photograph
Best love scene - best modular
What do you think?

I like your categories so far. How about
most ingenius/clever design or folding sequence would be a nice addition.

Best costume design-Best color changes
Best musical score-Best shaping
That is an interesting idea. Maybe at a convention, attendees could submit votes of models/designers in the display and the winners would be nominated. The nominees would then be invited to an awards ceremony. I don't think it would work, though-there would probably be too few people eventually nominated for such a big deal to be made out of it-not to mention that this is one person working on every aspect of several models instead of dozens of people working on each single movie.

We should have the "Origami Razzies" and nominate all the worst origamists in the world! I bet people would like to watch something like that!

If we have "Best modular" we must have a "Best" for other exact type, figure, or something
And i like Angrydemon's idea about the worst origamists
