Hi All...

that snake got my attention somehow and I was wondering what is the difference between the David Derudas' and Ronald Koh's version?
which one looks better, e.g. more authenthic etc?

Thanks in advance for your feedback,

e-mo

Ronald Koh's Cobra was originally based on the one by David Derudas.

The main difference between them is the head. The head on Ronald Koh's Cobra is much more detailed (but a bit more difficult to fold). Also the diagrams by Ronald Koh are clearer and easier to follow in my opinion, so I would go for his version.

HI daydreamer,

thanks for your feedback.
Yeah, I saw the upper part, but I kind of like the 4 teeth from David :P so maybe I can combine it somehow....but you are right, Ronald's instructions are much easier to follow.
Can you recommend me what size of paper I should use?

thanks,

e-mo

I've folded this one from a 10cm x 400cm rectangle which in my opinion was just about the right size, not too small to fold the details and not too large as to be annoying:

Daydreamer, where in the world did you get foil paper that big?

Nicolas Terry sells rolls of foil paper in his shop which come in 50cm x 10m:

Actually both models have about the same paper-to-model-ratio... so I don't see why Ronald Koh's version should be a waste of paper compared to David Derudas' version?

that's because Ronald Ko is asking for 24cm or 27cn (cant remember right now) width of paper and David's only 6cm :P.
because ronald ko version has more details it would be longer and bigger than David's.

Anyways i like them both :D.
