Hi, I want to make you a question.

Would you be interested in creating an obscene humour (pornigami) model to publish its diagrams in a book? That's my project and I want to know if there's any people interested in participating. Would you do it if you had enough time for creating and diagramming it?

It's an invitation specially for diagrams, of original and unpublished pornigami models. For now I only wish to have an idea of who might be interested to see if it's worth acting and formalizing the offer.

I depend on my savings for this project but I'm really eager and totally ready. Without knowing if the book will make winnings or just debts, it's complicated for me to promise sending a printed copy to those creators who's diagrams have been selected, but I definitely can offer sending an electronic version of the complete book. If things work out and it becomes viable to publish more than one edition, I could think of a more interesting agreement for the creators then, but I have to start somewhere, right?

I wanted to let you know I turned the original open question into a one-question poll.

I'm asking this as a personal favor: I need to know what's the general conception around this book, that's why it's important to get as many answers as possible.

If you're not making enough to send hard copies to everyone that participated, you're doing something wrong-- with print-on-demand publishing, you don't have to spend any money setting up an initial print run, so this should be your only cost. It's a pretty standard condition for letting someone publish your work for free...

Thanks ahudson for your reply. I checked out the links you were so kind to share with me. I did know about half those books, the other half isn't really origami or it is but not pornigami. I'm also taking into account your comment about how to recognize creators' kindness.

I'm hoping to know if your thoughts are shared by a significative part of the origami creative world; of course three votes aren't enough fot me to tell. I hope I can get a lot more answers in the poll in the days to come .
