So, a new edition of ODS will come out on the 1st september.
It will contain several new models, crease patterns and a chapter on unaxinal box-pleating and one on polygon packing. 770 pages for 38,99.

What do you guys think?

Sorry, I haven´t realy gotten used to this kind of forum. I´m from 4chan you see.
You see, on 4chan there is no search thingy nor does anyone take the time to find a similar thread.
All the /b/ros, /h/os, /po/pers, /soc/cer moms and /r/etards live without that stuff.
And as it is, that thread is stone-cold dead. Easier to create a new, fresh one. For great justice!

yes, why bother going over the forum guidelines and helping to streamline the community to make it more useful for everyone.

okay so about that ODS 2? scarab beetle diagrams i hope....confirmed sept 1 release date?

i know the two pages in the previous thread is probably too much to review, but lang did list what "new" diagrams were in v2. the book is ODSv2, not ODS2.

Acording to the publisher there will not be any diagrams for the scarab beetle, but there will be a cp for it (and I think it´s box-pleated so it shouldn't be to hard).
And the release date has been pushed back before, but I think Sep 1 is the right one.

i just checked amazon and they have it listed as sept.1....no scarab huh..bummer....also...retail price was like 52 or something.....well worth it though.....im glad to see this will be released sooner than expected....i was anticipating fall.....
