Yuzen Paper

Post by Sroge4 »

Has anyone folded with a large sheet of it before? A friend got me some, but it was only 9x9cm. I really liked it, but was wondering if it was good for more complex models. Any thoughts? (Also, I'm pretty sure it's similar to Chiyogami papers)

What do you mean with "large" sheet?

Well, it doesn't necessarily have to be large, but something complex

You have two issues with large yuzen. One is that it is very similar to cloth, so unless you size the hell out of it, you will have trouble making anything stay (and sometimes even then). Second, the patterns on most yuzen don't really lend themselves to large, complex projects...
