If you collect fossils, post a picture of your best finds here.

The best shark teeth I've ever found.

You collect fossils? Wow! You must be an Archaeologist!

Haha, no, its just a hobby I've been doing since I was 6 or 7. Paleontologists study prehistoric life, by the way. Archaeologists study prehistoric human culture and such

Beautiful collection, a surprising variety! My brother has all the paleontological genes, unfortunately for me, I only find barren stones!

I wouldn't say I'm a collector, but I do tend to pick up interesting fossils when I see them. Nothing as cool as shark teeth, though!

Actually. You can find those shark teeth on some beaches.

Thanks, Phillip. The three pieces on the left I found in a riverbed in Virginia. The two on the right on a lakeshore in Michigan. I don't know much about what they are, though.

My best find, from Virginia!
I've got a dozen or so megs, the others are smaller or more worn down.
Also 30 marine mammal verts and 1200 other found shark teeth, makos, tigers, etc.

Sweet, man! That is an amazing find, I've likewise found around a dozen megs but the are all broken except for the really small ones (my largest unbroken meg is > 1"). I recently found some sort of hip bone and a (speculated) giant sloth claw. Did you find it on the beach, scuba diving, digging, etc?
Anyways... if you are ever go down to Savannah, shoot me a message and I'll tell you some great spots for fossil hunting.

I found it in a clay block at a cliff base. I'd love to visit other locations, but it's harder with the baby now! I haven't been back to my usual spot in over a year.
