Cool Events in US Hostory?
So I need to write a paper on an American event from ~1877-1945. It can spill over a little. So I'd like to do something a little more obscure, not like WWII or te depression. Any ideas? Thanks!
I finally got it to say something under my posts!

Nikola Tesla. Research him - This man invented most of the technology used in the modern world, to name a few - Alternating current, Logic gates (50 years before electronic computers were invented), X-rays, Neon lighting, Radio (he won the rights over Marconi in the High Court), Remote control, Lasers, Hydro-electricity, Tesla coil (not used much these days but still cool).
