So I decided it was time to create a gallery, and here it is!

Here you'll find both completed models with fancy backgrounds, work in progress, random ideas and all that good stuff.

Comments, criticism, and all such things are welcome!

Enjoy!

So, let's get this thing going!

Phoenix - Jon Tucker

This is the second time I've folded this model, and this time I succeded (the last time I failed completly, photos on my Flickr).
Just like last time, the paper was to small, but now the paper wasn't to thick, which enabled me to fold the legs properly. But I messed up when folding the head :(

I love this model, the paper is distributed in such a way that no part is to thick.
The wings are awesome to, some of the best wings in origami!

When seeing this model some of you undoubtedly think of Kamiya's phoenixes but I think this is the superior one.

Murex- Robert J. Lang

Folded by me from a square of PVAed kozo.
This model is basically just a bird base with point splits, but of course simplicity isen’t a bad thing as this model shows. Sure, it’s a bit tricky to get the spikes evenly distanced but it’s still an awesome model.
I recomend a thicker paper that is a light colour or maybe a bit transparent and wetfolding for this model. It's a nice model, everyone should try it!

Next one:

Spider Conch - Robert J. Lang

This is just a simpler version of the murex, but as I said before: simplicity isen't bad. Same thing as the murex: thick paper that is a light colour or transparent and wetfold.

How I made the base for the phoenix:

It's silent so put some music on while listening.

That phoenix is beautifull. Are there diagrams, or is it from CP?
