I give you a mini-challenge. It's all there, just fold it.

Hint for the two-tone - blintz forward and back.

For a more advanced challenge - show a variation and make it your own.

I'll be sure to try it. Just curious though, are the horizontal and vertical creases at 1/8, 3/8, 5/8, and 7/8? That's all I managed to really come up with for it so far.

Here is a variation of the cube challenge –
A cube-VASE
1. First picture show vase folded with a white square
2. Second picture show how objects or flowers can be inserted in 5 locations
3. Third picture shows the vase folded from clear overhead transparency acetate.
4. Finally, I fill the vase with window washer solution –
Clear water didn’t show up well for the picture.

better pictures to come later... the crappy webcam photo doesn't really do the model any justice. Anyway, the locking system on the model was very interesting. I was beginning to wonder whether or not it was possible to fold and it eventually (and slowly) clicked into place. Nice model Firstfold! I'll fold the blintz variation out of foil later.

Tada! Time to get started making up some new variations, then I might think about getting started on that vase.
