push very hard with the back of your fingernail on the crease. it sometimes hurts and takes a long, long time to completely remove them but it works okay. or you could just get a new piece of paper.

What type of paper is it?I also sometimes use a creaser to flatten them out and actually the paper is stronger than you would think. I it almost never rips when you do it.

with the credit card you use the edge and you apply pressure to the crease wall moving the credit care. it should work i haven't tried it lol

use methylcellulose, and soak the paper in it.
note this only works with most japanese papers and origamido-type paper.
i believe it also will work with tissue, but may not very good.

try wetting the paper, and ironing it. you can also try spray starch, its almost the same thing as methylcellulose. MC is the only method i know absolutely works though, especially with tissue paper.
