Hello all.

I found your forums while looking for information on Lang's scaled koi and am very pleased that I did. It looks like you have quite the wonderful community here.

I've been folding steadily since about five years ago, though I haven't done any design work of my own. In those five years, the most complex project I've managed to fold is probably Lang's scaled koi, though there is still room for improvement. Besides Lang's koi, I've very much enjoyed the Kawasaki rose, Hideo Komatsu's fox, and Peter Engel's eight-pointed star.

Other craft-related interests of mine include Chinese knotting and mizuhiki. I'm also a fan of math and computer science.

Happy folding!

Hello! That's exactly how I found this too! I just folded the scales a couple of days ago. What fun! I wish I had the book to figure out how to do the koi now. :(

Nice to meet you and to be apart of an active group in my favorite hobby!
What did the Origami Artist say to the paper?
Don't be a square.
