The John Tremaine book is an unusual book. Is it any good? The model list looks quite intreresting, but I've never seen a copy.

Ah that book actually not that interesting (well, yes it is, but not compared to Lang or Robinson or Kamiya) lol, it's just traditional basic models like crane and flapping bird.
Nick Robinson is one of my favourite folders though--simple but very pleasing folds, like the cheshire cat here:
