I guess, before I ever feel the need to post anything. I should introduce myself a bit.
I'm a 25 year old student from the Netherlands. Been folding for the past 20 years, though until a month ago, my repertoire didn't consist of anything other than the crane, waterbomb and frog.
Did have a lot of fun with them, those past years. Especially the waterbomb has been a great toy in a variety of situations.
Saw the Lang and Bowden vids on the Ted talks a while back, which resparked my interest, and widened my view of the origami world a bit.
When I went down with the flu about a month ago, I got myself a pack of simple paper and robbed some books from a friends library to occupy myself with. Which was fun, wanted to challenge myself to fold Kamiya's ancient dragon, and managed to finish it a couple of days ago.
During that time I found out about a lot of other great models, and would love to be able to fold from CP and maybe be able to make my own models. So I seem to have found myself some new challenges, which could occupy me for a while. Besides I can't really stop now that I've collected a variety of different papers in the past month, would be rather silly to let that go to waste.
So hopefully I'll be here to stay for a while.
