Hi all

So I go by squid as you can tell, a name given to me by my best friend a while ago and to add on top of that, after I got the name I got a large tattoo of a squid on my left shin.

I am an engineer at a power plant in Arkansas, before that I was an engineer in Vermont in a power plant, before that a Engineer on a fairy boat in Vermont, and before that I went to Maine Maritime Academy for my education.

I got into folding when I was in 3rd grade, I folded off and on in life and really got back into it when a friend asked me to make cranes for his daughters birthday party as favors for the kids. After my girl friend saw them she liked them, I started to make her different molds. It makes her happy so I keep doing it. I also make them on trips or when I am out alone around town and leave the little guys for others to find.

I call it Random Acts of Origami... , Im starting a blog on it at the moment, and some of the pics are on my facebook page.

anyways, thought this would be a great place to chat about folding, molds and such.
