Mike's Origami

Hi

I have created a website which contains diagrams of some of the models I have doodled up. Admittedly, some of the diagrams do not display that well, but I intend to include some pdf's of the models soon. I've also included a gallery of some of the models I have folded in the past with an attempt to include them into some kind of a story.

For my sins (or not) I've also had a stab at writing a murder mystery game centred around the world of origami. Why should I do that? Well, it's just an adaptation of some murder mystery games I have written in the past for other ventures.

And last but not least, I've included a diagram database (at the risk of overlapping other websites which contain the same thing) which developed out of a personal project of mine - which by no means is anywhere near complete.

I hope you will have time to visit my site and possibly provide some feedback.

Well, slapped wristies for me then for not wishing you a Happy Birthday in my original posting. I'll try and remember for next year. I have already written out ' I shalt not forget' 100 times, in the hope that I will now be pardoned for my momentary lapse of forgetfulness.

If anybody's interested, I uploaded 2 new models/diagrams to my website recently - 'See Saw of Love' + 'Receding Hairline'. In the next few days I should be adding another model called 'The Fat Controller', from Thomas the Tank Engine.

Dear Mike, could you please upload your webpage to a webspace with a higher (or even better no) traffic limit. You can find a large list of (mostly free) webspace providers here: http://www.freewebspace.net/

Hi Anna
You're right. I need to look into this as I only realised last week that I had a problem with my site going down due to the amount of traffic it has. Thanks for bringing the problem to my attention. I'll get onto the case asap.

I have now updated my website to include models that I have doodled but not diagrammed up yet. There's 16 in total.

If you're that interested and want to take a look, please visit http://www.geocities.com/mikebr2003/index.htm and scroll down to the bottom of the page for the 'Un-diagrammed Models' category.

When I will find the time to diagram them up I'm not sure, as I'm concentrating on another site that I have created http://www.helpfromhome.org/ which for anybody's info is not an origami site. It's about volunteering your time from your home to help worthwhile causes.

I eventually do intend to put a section on this website about how origami can contribute to helping out worthwhile causes, but that for me is another whole topic altogether and not really suitable for this thread.
