Searching in other Languages

Hey all!
I've found origami to be incredible in how it is not only global but it pierces through language barriers via symbols! Lately I've been using Google translate to not only translate websites, but first translate my search query into the language, and then back to English again.
However, this can be a tedious process. Is there a way to automatically search all languages at once?
I think I communicated the concept clearly, but just to further spell it out, here's what I'm doing:
I search for the word "origami," I only(well, mainly) receive English results because it is spelled differently in Chinese and other languages. To get results in Chinese, I have to translate the word "origami" into Mandrin. I search using the translated word. I then translate the websites back into English. To get results in other languages, I get to repeat the process!
However, with Google custom search, I could alleviate the hassle and create a search engine to do that automatically. However, that would require an extensive amount of time and I'm really not interested in doing so unless it would be a productive and helpful tool for the rest of the community. Any thoughts?
I appreciate your time and input on the matter!
Cheers!
David
