Re: What To Fold
Wow, nice gift Toto93!
I'm thinking anything from Origami Essence by Roman Diaz, or Michael J Lafosse's book Advanced origami, because a lot of those models are great on the 35x35cm or less papers, especially with dual colors:
Origami Essence: http://www.giladorigami.com/BO_Essence.html

You're welcome toto93
The owl's a big favorite of mine too. Right next to Nguyen Hung Cuong's in my favorite list of owls.

Re: What To Fold
12 x 12 right angle triangle
Ivory
It's fairly thick.
It made a beautiful swan by Hoang Tien Quyet (from tant. 16)
But now I don't know what to do with the other half (was a square).

Re: What To Fold
Hm, the heart looks cute enough. Thank you
Another swan, although fun, would have already been done if I didn't think of doing it
The cat though, I can't find. Gave me the idea though of cutting off the corners for a square, and doing the same again on the corner, so I have three squares for the cat and two kittens in the VOG book...
Now...
White tissue foil 60 x 60 from Origami-shop (combine with black gorilla fur for fuzzy panda?)
Black tissue with brown/white or on its own, any size.
It's going to be a preemptive thing, get the model idea first, then fit, you know?

Re: What To Fold
I have a ton of kami, 6", different colors.
No modulars please--I find them very monotonous, and it's a major pain to keep track of all the units.
FYI I'm okay with CPs.
