Re: Flickr redesign
Yeah I don't like Flickrs official app... Use flickstackr, it's much better
The only limit in origami is your imagination and your patience

Yeah, look how much public opinion mattered for Facebook's Timeline.

Re: Flickr redesign
I wouldn't count on that, flickr invested lots of man/ hours and thus money on this new layout. Most likely they are going to get the errors out in the next couple of weeks.Kyle2952 wrote:wow. i just read comments on the flickr forum,(link on first page) and almost nobody likes it. i assume it will get changed soon.
Edit: after writing the above post I opened the webpage, it says that everyone gets a terrabyte of free space.
So does this mean I'll be able to have more than the previous limit of 200 photo's on my free account?
Edit nr 2: I must say that although it looks really great on my laptop, I think it works better for my (smart)phone. The picture are really large on the laptop, so I understand what everyones problem is. I'm also missing the discriptions, now you have to click on the photo, and I can't see the number of views of my photo's anymore. Hope they are going to find some way to fix that.

Re: Flickr redesign
Yep. The only advantage of a paid account is not having ads show up on some pages. Or the significantly more expensive option to get *2* Terabytes of storage.roodborst wrote: Edit: after writing the above post I opened the webpage, it says that everyone gets a terrabyte of free space.

I like the new look for viewing photos, but for photo management I wish they'd have retained a way to get to the old-style, catalog-like listing...

Re: Flickr redesign
@ kafar: thanks that works. Just to bad I'll have to check every individual photo from now on.
@fncll: Well I like getting some more space. I had to delete half my picture about a year ago because I was at the limit of 200 pics. After that I had to Edit my entire gallery here on the forum because of all the pictures that where missing.

Re: Flickr redesign
I guess people do derive pleasure from repetition and monotony rather than change and excitement.
As with everything it will take some use--but otherwise I don't see it negatively.

Re: Flickr redesign
The new flickr sucks.
I like it when it says hello to me in other languages. The photos are also very large so my computer takes forever to open the page. The large photos causes a bit of mess up and there is very less space. I liked the old design better.
The good thing about it is that it has 1TB of space.
