Yeah it's a fun model. Looked pretty good aswell, although my paper was a bit thick. The most annoying was that I used one of two sheets that where unique, since I can't just buy a new sheet. It was green with a flower print. Still got one sheet.. Might do a refold.
Btw: just failed hideo komatsus lion after more then a hunderd steps. I've been busy designing my own stuff alot lately so I had a hard time folding drom diagrams again. The model also has a lot of 'release hidden flap' steps that I find really hard.

One word: CAT.
Re: Destroyed model
I bumped a cup of coffee which spilled all over my entire origami collection awhile ago. About 5 models were destoyed, and many others are permanently stained.
A cynic is nothing but a realist with experience.

I'm pretty sure my dog ate a Western Pond Turtle that was in the final phases of shaping. That's what I get for using banana peel paper (Lokta).

Re: Destroyed model
Some of my friends took a model off me, and threw it out a bus window.

Out a window? Never heard that one before.

Re: Destroyed model
It has happened to me meany times.
Once I took Shuki Kato's Western Dragon to school but a boy ripped off its neck...Poor dragon.
Once I folded Brian Chan's Wall-e from Tissue-foil but I accidently left in ON the bed. Someone sat over it and it was squashed. I still have the remains of the poor fellow with me.

This thing happened with me also with the flasher hat by Jeremy Shafer. My friend opened it waaaayyy too much but I was lucky that nothing happened to it.Benlewisorigami wrote: I also made one of Jeremy Shafer's flasher supremes PERFECTLY, and one of my friends opened it wayyy to much and I had to throw it out.
