I agree, I think this was the only model I ever folded. Even more amazing is that a guy I met on an airplane actually paid me $3 to buy one from me (for good luck on an law exam) even though I told him he could have it for free.
Then there's also Kawahata's Pteranodon, all of Kamiya's work, and Keiichi Kozasa's Gamera.

LaFosse's Squirel is def. my favourite. I've made it so many times out of millions of different things... parchment, brown textured paper, washi, yuzen, kraft paper, copy paper, homemade and handmade paper... the list goes on...
