How do you make a truncated tetrahedron?

Post by Turple »

I've searched everywhere but can't find how. I have found it, but not in the particular style I would like. I need it truncated on only one of the points. Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Are you wanting single square, modular, other, or does it matter?

Truncated Tetrahedron...

Post by lunasea »

Since I had no idea what a truncated tetrahedron was, I had to investigate! I found a great one in a book called "3-D Geometric Origami: Modular Polyhedra" by Rona Gurkewitz and Bennett Arnstein. I don't know anything about the availability of the book, but the instructions for it were in the preview...

I made it last night and I am happy with how it came out. I kinda want to check out the rest of the book now. :D

I snapped a pic for ya.
