Horse on a pole.

Who can remember riding around on one of these as a child?

I was still not happy with the horse`s hind legs. I think I got it now. It is more muscular looking now, as compared to before. I`m not going to make any more changes to the basic horse now.

Dry folded from mulberry paper. The paper is great, my first time folding with it! Now to try out the MC!

Another thumbs up for the latest Horse and the Pegasus - if you can manage diagrams I'd love to fold them (which is saying something, 'cos I don't fold much at all from diagrams these days). If you can get the improved hind legs on the two-colour Unicorn as well you'd have another winner there.

Thank you for the compliments. I could improve the hind legs of the unicorn also, but time to fold it is an issue.
I.ve been trying to get hold of you. I'm really interested in your publications. Can you give me some info on where to find them. Especially if the books contain diagrams for your Bear and Pig!!! Those are great!!

I don't want to divert this thread too much, but since you asked:

Animal Origami 2 and 3 are still available from BOS Supplies (http://www.britishorigami.info/supplies/supplies.php), but the first one seems to be out of stock. The BOS has asked for more copies of "Origami Favourites", which I will try to take to the BOS autumn convention in Liverpool.

There's also a new book called "Animales de papel" by Vicente Palacios featuring mostly my stuff (http://www.salvatella.com/cas/Ficha.asp?id=1296). It's mainly fairly simple models, but it does contain Vicente's method for my Pig (the result is almost but not quite the same).

I have quite a few Bears, but the one you probably mean is in "Origami Favourites". There are also new and so far unpublished diagrams for the Pig with an improved folding sequence (longer but easier).

Meanwhile, this Koala was posted on the forum before, but here it is again if anyone is interested:

I'll be sure to get them from the BOS. They will (apparently) start printing my BOS booklet sometime soon also, so it might be available when you go over for the convention.

Hippogriff
A mythical animal with the head, front legs and wings of an eagle and the hind legs and tail of a horse.
Needs work, but the base has all the bits and pieces. This was just a personal challenge, and although I think it could be improved, I'm not going to waste more time on it!

Pretty cool-It does need some improvement, but the design looks sound. I love the feathers on the breast, although they stick out a bit much.
