I don't think it will happen any time soon. He's been the victim of someone folding versions of his works based on his crease patterns and then selling them as their own designs. As someone who's livelihood depends on selling his work, that's going to make it much less likely for him to publish.
Yes, I am that Joseph Wu. Not that it really matters. And please call me Joseph or Joe. "Mr. Wu" is my dad. :)

Man! Will Joisel ever cease to amaze? I love LOTR and his renditions of the characters are brilliant! I hope he makes Sauron next, that would be crazy awesome!
If you can't fold it, try a bazooka.

A Sauron by Joisel would be great. But I'd really like to see what araknoid would do with that character.

I don't know what's so special on this character but I agree that a version by Araknoid surely would look amazing. I'm often surprised by his interpretations of models that are well known like the Ancient Dragon.

oh thank you!
well, i hope to get back to design and for now i'm almost done with some non-bp learning...
there is also a definite first model that i'm thinking about, and i hope will be liked. something dreamy.
but anyway, sauron would be great.
for sure (eh! obviously!) one must feel sauron to fold sauron.
but that is not the main thing, if we consider the thing as a mere act like on a stage.
it's the origami perspective that i would find intriguing: an eye and how? or a simil-john blanche warrior? or something that shapes the void between flaps?
oh i hope to be able some day to try the subject. grazie!

anyway joisel is so special. always makes my heart smile even if sometimes is renditions are not creepy enough!
and.
dear anna thank you!
