I foresee that being the same issue with this model for most of us, hence my utter disappointment. Guess I will just wait and see. Again, keep in mind the disappointment is only my opinion. I am sure many people will be happy with this, but I am losing sleep over trying to reverse engineer komatsu's lion and wish he'd hurry up and publish it

I too was hoping for a model a bit more extravagant than vajrapani. However, vajrapani is not box pleated and it should be interesting to see Takashi diagram it. I think one of Brian Chans crazy works would be an interesting diagram. shrimp.. mantis shrimp.. although its probably a hell of alot of work to diagram such a model.

I just received the JOAS Special issue. It is the "Vajrapanji" model by Hojyo Takashi. 226 Diagrams. I think it's nice. Don't know if I'll fold it though!
It also has a nice section on 3D origami design by Tachi Tomohiro at the end, translated to English, 5 pages. Havent read it, but looks very interesting!

Vajapani was diagramed in tanteidan convention 11. So I wonder they want to public again this diagram?

There are diagrams for Icarus?

What is JOAS special edition. I am new subscriber to Tanteidan. Don't read a lick of japanese but love the diagrams. Will I get this edition?

The special edition is for JOAS members only not for subscribers of the magazine.
