Hi everybody

Post by fpo »

Hi everyone,

My name is Kenneth and I just joined this forum.
I have been making different origami models (boats, frogs, aeroplanes )since I was a boy but lately I am into fighter planes.

Anyone out there sharing the same military plane interest ?

I look forward to enjoy this forum.

Welcome to the forum!

My father makes small models of planes and flyies them. He is now interested to planes with electric motors. I also worked with planes as child, but now I am doing origami (planes).

Would you like to design planes or fold they?

Electric motor plane

Post by fpo »

Ondrej,

I have tried together with my neighbour designed a paper plane with electric motors. After the plane is made, we attach a string hanging from the ceiling. Then, the motor fan with a one AA battery is hooked onto the exhaust pipe of the paper plane. The plane fly swings around in a circular manner. At times, if the pendulum is correct, it can fly for 5 minutes.

We tried it without hanging but no success so far.
