I mean, after hours (or even days) spent to fold our masterpieces where do you store them?
Leave them on a shell it is not so good due to the dust (or do you vaccum your model? )
Store them in a box is a pity! I use the empty shoes boxes but mostly the models get some damages.
So, do you have any clever way to keep/store safetely your beloved models?
I tend to just give them away. But for the more important ones which I spend a lot of time on I keep them in my bookshelf. It has 8 little compartments that are meant for like souvenirs or something but I just put the models in there.
I know I saw a really awesome picture where this one person had compartments cut into his wall with awesome lighting and glass covering but I can't seem to find it again.
It also the same for me.
The first step is to put them on my shelf, on the TV, arond mu keyboard, hanging from the lamp... and so on.
Then when they become as many as a little army (and start looking me in a strange way ) I put them in some boxes.
I've also try to put them in big glass jars (like the pikle ones). They looks pretty under glass.
I put all my model in a cupboard..
and it is not a good idea because many of my models "get lost" in there..
it is very hard to find it especially if it is a small model...
at least i am not the only one who has models everywhere and is running out of room. OrigamiGianluca that is the exact phrase i use a little army but its more like a huge army.
I stuff my models in my cupboard in the same way that chipmunks stuff acorns in their mouths. Whenever I'm looking for a certain model, I grab pull everything out, rummage through the pile until I find what I need, then I stuff everything back in. Sometimes I think I'm not organized enough.
i put my models on the top of my computer desk, never more then 10-15 gets there before a friend or family comes over and takes them all home with them.
