Origami and math
I know that math and origami goes hand in hand. But I don't know the exact equation and geometry that make it work. I'm now trying to make my own designs and knowing the math to do that would help alot. Any help on this matter willbe greatly appreciated.

It's written by Robert J. Lang.Origami king wrote:Who is the auther of "Origami Design Secrets" and where can I git the book.
I have it and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to design, even if you aren't into designing it's still great in terms of understanding how to fold and even for psychological background of origami.

Absolutely agree with suggestion of buying Dr. Robert Lang's Origami Design Secrets.
Terrific design ideas & techniques .
All the math that you can tolerate and then some ! After all, it's subtitle is Mathematical Methods for an Ancient Art.....
Should you yearn for additional math-brain gymnastics, google for Thomas Hull, or even just google " origami and mathematics", you'll find an abundant compilation of resources .

An afterthought: I would be negligent had I neglected to mention one of the most famous design-math books.
Roses, Origami & Math by T. Kawasaki .
Origami, of course, has it's foundation in geometry, and Kawasaki takes great pains to illuminate those of us with a feeble advanced understanding of same.
Good luck, & I hope that you have a chunk of time set aside for this endeavor !
