Congratulations on your first Design! it has clean sharp angles, Like my tiger, It is a very good first design!

the earliest design I can remember that I made looked like a Camel with a Gigantic body, large legs, and a tail forced together, and a head 1&1/2 cms big.

Good fold. You might consider making a Crease Pattern (CP) for submission to the Christmas book. Make sure to follow the rules, so you don't disqualify yourself by publishing the diagrams beforehand.
You might play with duo paper and color changes to see what you get.
