Yes I one of those "Guests" that apears at the bottom of the page when you look to see whose online.

Got around to joining.
Figured I couldn't sit in the background for ever.

Dug this out of the shoebox its a 15 yr oldish example from when I first came accross it.

Been folding for 40 yrs.
Still have a few examples from way back then.

Origami has certainly changed over the year.
Birdbase and streached Bb, Fishbase and streached Fb, waterbomb, were about all there were.

Now we have Pre Creased that can require 30-50-1000 fold before the model is begun!

Thanks for the good links and stuff!
Might even get around to making the odd comment!

Even if it is from a Old Newbie! "Oldbie" LOL!
I start out confused and end up confused on a higher level!

Great picture. I am also a new convert from "guest" to registered user. 40 years is much longer then my folding time, just found this hobby a few months ago. It sure is interesting what people can create though.

Welcome, guys :). I'm not gonna launch into some boring explanation about how fun this forum is, 'cause I guess you already know :)

And it do not automatically means that such models are better, nicer but also harder etc.
