handmade paper
i hear that people use handmade paper how do you make that?
1. buy pulp
2. put pulp in water and pull it into a sheet with a special thingny that looks like a net
3. press the sheet
4. dry
5. Done
I actually have made paper and I can tell you that it's pretty hard to do. takes a lot of time, you have to get a lot of stuff ready for it and you can't easily find the pulps and cemicals. but if it's possible for you, I can also tell you it's so worth it!

In S.C., go to USC and ask. You can also ask someone at Clemson. There used to be a craft fair in Hendersonville, N.C.
You can find packets of Washi at Michaels, and maybe Hobby Lobby.
About a year ago, Dollar General had packages of 17" x 24" Mulberry Paper in the larger Dollar General stores (I think?)
Search Google for Handmade paper.
People who do scrapbooking may have leads.
Call Larry Alexander or Michael LaFosse at Origamido, directly.
Make sure you have an idea of what you want, what you plan to do with it, how big you want, and what your budget will handle.
