for the divine dragon double tissue is a good choice and also the divine dragon is eisier than the ancient dragon so you shouldent have much difficulty exept for the head you will need some larger paper than you used for your ancient dragon

ive completed it!
the head was the only un-satisfactory part of my fold. ill post pictures later today or tomorrow.

unfortunatly the paper was too small for the head, as you stated but 27cm was all i had.

Thanks :D

The beetle has 8 legs and 2 huge horns.
for some reason, whenever i try to design a beetle or insect, i get too many flaps. right now im folding Manuel Sirgo's mantis from licence to fold and then ill fold myne. :)

Beetles DON'T have 4 pairs of legs...
Advice: start designing using certain techniques, not folding accidentially..

p.s. the cp of mantis looks inefficient.. you could have dome more than just adding grafts in the middle. A pair or legs will get thick

Paulius - This is the new CP i used. Of course it is just a rough one, but a cleaner computer drawn CP will follow.

This is the completed model when collapsed. I still need to improve some of the proportions (Neck, head etc.) but for now i am satisfied with it.

I have to agree with Paulius. You need to start designing with the intention of making a model, not just leaving it up to chance.

Now, I can see that's something you seemed to try doing with your praying mantis, and even though you claim it works 'perfectly,' the finished result is far from perfect and, as you said, the proportions will need to be improved.

Jared kindly re-drew the cp, as mine was quite messy.
