josh if you've only actually folded the model twice, then the idea of diagramming it should not have even crossed your mind. you should spend more time refining the design by folding it many many times. for example, the praying mantis I had designed most recently, I had folded it countless times before I was even settled on a method to fold the legs. I know you're eager to diagram your stuff but you need to slow it down and focus more on quality over quantity.
that being said, you should probably work on getting better at drawing your CPs too because I can see quite a few places where the lines are off of where they should be :B

I don´t think so I think you should diagramm everything you want if it´s your first try or anything, if you decide that the diagrams were badly made or the model needs more work you can still do that any time you want.
Anyway it´s you who is doing the work with your models so do what you wish, for example I had never diagrammed anything and now I regret I have forgotten many of my creations, actually the one I miss the most is a modification of yoshizawa´s squid in which I added two extra legs and eyes to get 5 legs. Now I don´t remember how to make it so I´ll have to redisign it.
Anyway quantity will give you lots of experience and then quality could be the issue, anyway you´r young so you have time to work.
Just keep at it!

BluePaper: You have a point, though i'm still learning and i just want to diagram as much stuff as i can, and keep improving everytime. i did fold around 5 different variations of this but i folded this actual design twice. over time i will get better...

it's a very difficult fold, which explains the bad fold.
i'll re-fold it though.
