Japanese origami books on eBay

Post by jonathan1 »

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have a few books listed on eBay.
They have never been used and I have shifted focus to a different hobby (I still fold of course!), but I want the books to get some use and enjoyment rather than just sitting on the shelf.

I don't recall what I paid for them, so if you think the listing price is too much let me know. I am also willing to consider offers on the forums if one doesn't sell.

Origami Fantasy, Fumiaki Kawahata
Origami Insects II, Robert Lang
Works of Satoshi Kamiya 1995-2003, Satoshi Kamiya
Origami Beetles of the world, Fumiaka Kawahata
Wild animals of the world, Fumiaka Kawahata
Imaginary Animals of the world, Fumiaka Kawahata

Thanks for looking!

Er, you are aware that used books are generally considered to be worth less than new books, right?

A general rule of thumb for pricing books is that used copies are worth about 60% of the price of new copies.

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it! I have been out of the origami loop for quite a few years now and had no idea how much I had bought them for. I got all of my books from Sasuga (RIP) and am glad to see that there are still fairly easy ways to get nice Japanese origami books into the states. After the auctions end I will re-list with more appropriate prices!
