Maybe it's a little bit out of line here but I found it quite cool to come across this badge. However I have no idea for what it stands or from which organisation it is. If anybody has a clue please let me know.

I don't know where it is from.
But somehow the bird on it reminds me of the PS3 game Heavy Rain, which deals with an Origami Killer and which also has diagrams for this bird. It is even on the cover. I might have the wrong connection, but...

The "cocotte" was used as insignia on some french airplanes during WW1 too

Wow, Thanx a lot Moog!! I would never have guessed that. Very interesting to know the history of the badge.

And Sushy, I know Heavy Rain used the Pajarita but this badge is way older, so no direct link towards that.
