Well I'm sure you know this, but the deluxe washi has a metallized layer in it. This allows it to be molded. I have two questions. Is it thicker than tissue foil? Also, where did you get the other color Josh? I can only see the brown onesjoshuaorigami wrote:Te one from Nicolas' shop works like tissue foil, only cleaner. Does standard Washi do that too? I haven't ever folded with it before...

It doesn't have a metallized layer inside, metal is vaporized to one side making it feel and look like real paper but shape better.
How thick it really is is hard to tell because of its structure. It can't be compared with tissue foil because it is completely different.
There's only one colour combination available brown-gold.

Thanks! For the color, I thought that from the picture and from the folded model (Quentin Trollip's anteater) that it was brown-white.

Thanks very much for folding! It looks GREAT!
The 'foil' layer in the deluxe washi is the gold side. It's coloured foil.

Another design!

Inspired by Petr Stuchly's one, here's my new design of an Ichthyosaurus!
