Errrr.... I'll start today!
Sorry, been a bit 'busy' folding lately. Once my mantis is done, then i'll start, and it should be done by the end of the week! :D

Yeah my mantis is coming along well. It will be interesting to see how we each do one.

Yeah, it will. :D I'm not sure how myne will look. I think it'll either look really good, or terrible. I'm collapsing the base right now. :)
Good luck with yours!

awesome mantid!

I have a small suggestion. Shrink the grid to half. After collapse, thinnen the limbs separately and split to form mouthparts.

Will try to fold this.

Legionzilla: Thanks! :D This one isn't that hard, so there's a fighting chance i'll fold this one again! I'll take that on board and try it next time! Also, if you fold it, please post photos!

Arun: Good luck, sounds like it's gonna be awesome!

I've almost got the final cp down for my flying mantis, just a few more adjustments and then I'll draw the cp out and fold it!

Thanks very much! The shaping is quite straight forward, so it's not hard at all. Good luck with the Butterfly! :D

The Black bear only has 58 steps.
