No SF this year, and I'd left out the new Origami Canada convention.
There're probably others that I've left out.
BTW, if there is interest in a southeast USA convention, someone will have to take the lead to organize it... because I know of no efforts in that direction.
I'm planning to go to NYC this year; it will be my first time ever going. Does anyone know when the schedule of events will be posted? I was thinking I might try to get tickets to see that new Trey Parker/Matt Stone broadway musical when I'm there.
Edit: I meant my first time to the OrigamiUSA convention, not to NYC
If they continue what's been customary in the last 10 years or so, it will be the last weekend of June that includes a Monday, so this year it will be Friday 24 to Monday 27.
That is probably the Convention date, but the Schedule won't be posted until a few weeks before. And the tutorials may not be posted until a week before, or so.
BTW, there are many advantages to volunteering to help set up etc., and even more advantages to teaching a model ...

You are right Hank. I supposed that since the question is about arranging to take advantage of being in NYC to go see something else, the dates would be enough, unless he wants to see the schedule to see what day he can skip classes and go somewhere else.
I'll be going to NYC. As it turns out, with the stupid weather we've beein having here in the northeast, I'll graduate, and then be doing origami the next day! Life is good.
well, you can check in at the Yahoo group for it, or you can just link up with us on facebook and stay informed that way...we should be having something going on in March.
