Honestly, how does he do that? I hope there is a cp in the near future!
Since it's based on a grid, he might. Most of his grid-based models are published into cps. Here's hoping!

On another note, I heard Hojyo was working on a book. Anyone know if that's true?

Really?
(friend of mine told me about that too.......hm)
If so, I hope a cp/diagram of his Wizard and Dragon is in it!
And I don't know how he does that. He just does.

I agree that Makora Taisho (whatever it is) is spectacular.

He has been "working" on it since 2006 at least, so don't hold your breath.

2003? I didn't know he had been working on that model for that long

I just hope this book rumor is true. Origami books always take a very long time to make...

Whew, I was going to say, 7 years to diagram a model? Even ryu-zin wouldn't take THAT long.....I think.

During OUSA 2007 he was asked about his book and he replied he was working on it. So the rumor is true, but there is no expected release date.

It did take 120+ steps to diagram the Shibaraku head. So its full diagrams would be how many? He is one of the more detailed authors so I can understand.

Hojyo's Makora Taisho CP will be publish in the up coming JOAS special edition booklet along with Kamiya's Reindeer CP

And the special edition diagrams for this year would be Tsuda Yoshio "Parakeet"

WHHHAAAATTT!!!?

Are you sure? If so, then I'm going to be member. If I subscribe, will they send me The years worth or the volume? Because I really want that cp. Basically, how am I sure I get the special edition issue including the Makora CP?
